EEG

This morning I had an EEG with the new headache doc. It went well. They said he would only call if something should up really wrong, otherwise, we will find out the results when we go back for our follow-up visit on April 7th. He wants to give the B2 and Magnesium a chance to work. He sent me home with some free samples for relpax, zomig, axert, and frova. I haven't tried the axert yet, but I have tried relpax and zomig. They take forever to work. Last night I had a small migraine and tried frova. It worked fast! I was surprised.

When I was there today we talked about getting a prescription for that, but I haven't tried the axert yet. So, I wanted to wait and try to axert to see which one worked better between the two. They were cool with that. They said when I decided which one worked better, then to let them know and they would call in a script of that.

So, all in all, I still feel very good about everything. I still feel that God directed us to this doc even though we had to get through the rude/mean one to get to him.

I have started working out. Lifting weights with my arms, squats with my legs, crunches and this morning 15 minutes on the treadmill. I don't feel too bad. I know that it will help in the end, so I keep plugging on. Once spring finally gets here I will be able to get back on my bike and ride. I am excited about that.

I guess that's it for today. I need to work on our group Bible study for tonight. Not leading it, just want to be prepared to participate.

I will leave you with this. My husband got my a cross for valentine's day that says "In Everything Give Thanks". That is so true. In the good and the bad, we need to give God thanks for all things (this isn't a size cross you can carry in your pocket). I need to remember that, we all do.

May God Bless each and everyone of you this day.

A Scripture the Means Alot to Me

I found a cross the other day at hallmark that is small enough to carry in your pocket, so I do everyday.

It has a verse on it that has come to mean a great deal to me and I wanted to share it with you because it is so true!

"I will hold you always in the palm of my hand" Isaiah 41:13.

When I am having a bad day, I remember that verse. God truly holds us in the palm of His hands and I am grateful and blessed for that.

God is so great and so good, I am so thankful I became a christian again and that God is truly with me all the time!

God Bless All Of You!

To God Be The Glory

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
To God be the glory, great things He hathdone; So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,Who yielded His life, an atonement for sin,And opened the lifegate, that all may go in.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,To every believer, the promise of God;The vilest offender who truly believes,That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;But purer, and higher, and greater will beOur wonder, our transport1, when Jesus we see!
Refrain:Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,Let the earth hear His voice!Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice!O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,And give Him the glory, great things He hath done!
—Fanny J. Crosby (1820-1915)

Today went great! The foot is not broken, but will take 5 weeks to heal. I messed up the tendion that runs from the big toe and it will hurt like crazy for the whole time. I go back for a follow-up visit on st patricks day. Most of the foot is a pretty purple.

The visit to the headache doc specialist was fabulous! I left the office in tears praising the Lord for sending us his way. He is trying some things that we have never tried before for migrianes. I am taking B2 and Magnesium for now. This thursday they are doing an EEG on my head. Then they may do a sleep study since I have trouble sleeping and that greatly affects migraines as well as my fibromyalgia.

We left the office both of us thanking God for this doc and for the plan that he has. We are excited to see what is next. He sent me home with 4 different migraine meds to try when I get a migraine to see what works best. Also, sent me home with a migraine diary to keep track of my migraines and what med I take when I get one and how it works. I have never had to do this before so I am hoping this will help him understand my headaches better.

I had a small migraine tonight, but took a zomig and it took care of it almost immediately! This is the first migraine I have had since last thursday so praise God for that too!

So that is it for today. It was a busy day. My husband and I went to the christian bookstore after all this to find a Bible study to do together. I am excited about this as well and thank God daily for him and how he stays with me and takes care of me.

I hope that you all had a good day today and have a good day tomorrow.

Praise the Lord for all He has done!

Church

This morning I made it to church. I actually felt really good (except for the pain in my foot). Our pastor is at a conference on the west coast so our head deacon spoke the sermon this morning. He spoke on the subject of prayer and it was just what I needed to to hear.

It was also good to see everyone. I have had alot of people at our church pray for me and my husband alot. They have also brought us meals and given us food gift cards for us to go out to eat so that we wouldn't have to cook. That has been such a blessing to both of us, I cannot describe to you what a tremendous blessing it has been for us that people have done this for us.

Tomorrow morning at 950am, I see the podiatrists about my foot. I feel for sure that something is broken or fractured, but we will see. I have broken this foot before 9 years ago, but that break was much, much worse. The pain with this has been pretty bad. I didn't sleep at all friday night because of the pain. My husband had me take some pain medicine before he went to work saturday morning and I slept til almost 1130am. I needed that. Anyhow, we will see what the doc says.

In the afternoon, at 115pm, I see the doc who is the headache specialist. I pray the God will use him to treat me as needed so that the migraines will be able to come under control. Praise the Lord, I have not had a migraine since this past thursday. I don't know why or what I may or may not have changed that caused this to happen, but I thank God for no migraines since thursday. Anyhow, I pray the God will use this doc and we will find some answers.

The hymn that we sang at the end of the service today ( don't remember the name), was such a blessing to me. I sang and sang and Praised God all through the song for always being there for me and with me throughout all of this. God is really a great God and I am so thankful that I am a child of His and belong to His family.

Well, it is almost 10pm and I need to get ready for bed. Time for more pain medicine for my foot and I have to get up early to get ready for both docs.

I hope that all of you have a great, blessed day tomorrow. May God bless each and every one of you!
