Tonight, Obama will address the United States Congress as well as the American people, on what seems to be a last ditch effort to save his precious 'health care reform'. He has lost all control of this, which does not bother me.
He seems to be waffling on the 'public option' part of the bill and yet Nancy Pelosi says no bill will be presented on the floor of the House of Representatives that does not have that 'option' in it! Representatives and Senators from his own party are jumping ship quickly! I do not know how many of them actually held town halls and listened to people, but I do know that some are in terrible trouble for re-election next year!
Again, we are rolling fast down the hill of socialism. We already have it in some areas of our lives, but we need to pay attention to everything, not just health care. The things that Obama and his administration want to do to this country, would make us a socialistic country, not a republic that is ruled by democracy. They are cramming things through so fast, it makes my head spin, but we must pay attention to it all!!
Do not listen to the smooth talker tonight and buy into his words. He is just giving a good speech, which about all he is good at, he does not know what he is saying. Do not be lured into his smooth words, it will be the death of America.

Yesterday when I wrote this, I included a song done by the Glenn Beck Show. For some reason, when I clicked on the link today, it said the song wasn't there on YouTube anymore. So, I found another one. It's the same song, new words 'hailing' Obama set to the tune of "Gimn Sovetskogo Soyuza" the national anthem of the former Soviet Union. Hopefully this link will work better.
Again, have a smile or two with it, but also give it some pause and thought. It is a serious matter.

I just read post about Obama’s upcoming address to American, once again on health care. I agree that he no longer has control over this issue. The public option was pivotal and now it’s the one issue that seems neglected and left unasserted.

I appreciate your comment and your thoughts to my post yesterday. Let me say that I did not watch the speech by Obama last night. I prefer to read the actual text of the speech and not have to listen to him.
On the link you sent me, I found it very interesting. I thought it interesting that the clips that were chosen to use in video seemed to be more 'middle of the road'.
What I have seen and heard, from the various networks that were and were not used in this video, they seem to be soley on the side of Obama and the Democrats. Some reporters on certain networks have even taken to calling those of us who oppose going down this road, childish names, like we were back in grade school!
I see the Democrats and Obama as desperate at this point. They should be. American's spent the summer speaking their voices and their opinions, not only on 'health care reform', but on other issues as well.

In other words, we the people, are the boss of those who are in the offices of the President and Congress! We hired them and we can fire them!
I will keep as eye on the link for the website that you included in your comments. I may use it some day. I search many places on the internet for my news. Yes, I will say that I watch FOXNEWS, but not near as much as I used to. I am trying to find my own way and not blindly trust whatever I see or hear. Thanks for that info!
Bottom line: I do not agree with this health care reform. I think it's going to cost us and many generations after us, so much, that our country will never be the same again. I am also very concerned about the intrusion into so many areas in our lives with this bill (I am referring to HR 3200). It's dangerous, so dangerous.
I hope that you will continue to comment on my blog. I love a good 'discussion' about several topics, not just politics!
