Today was a long day it seemed. It really wasn't, but with the weather getting worse, it seemed like a very long day. We are now under a blizzard warning until tomorrow at 4pm. My husband is helping one of our neighbors shovel and salt the driveway. It's a hill, so if it is not shoveled and salted, it makes it difficult to get your vehicle up the driveway.
I had my female ultrasound this morning. My husband took the day and went with me. The outside part wasn't too bad, but the inside part was very painful and sore. My hubby said it looked like my left ovary was inflamed and dark looking. Couldn't see too much of the right side. Although it too was painful as was my uterus somewhat, but that left ovary is definitely the problem one. They said we should hear something on tuesday. If I haven't heard by tuesday afternoon, I will call the doc myself to see whats up. We are just ready to get it taken care of.
I have an appointment on the 26th with a shrink. He is right here by the house and sounds good. The place comes highly recommended. We are to call the other counselor on the 17th for an appointment. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long on that.
It is tough learning to live with this. Although we found a support group that is next tuesday that we are planning to attend to see if that will help. You know being with other families who are going through the same thing etc.
I haven't smiled very much today which my hubby notices more than anything. I did manage to get through lunch with my mother in law without having a nervous breakdown or anything. It actually went well.
Hubby and I are going to the Columbus Car Show tomorrow afternoon/evening. I am really looking forward to this. We went several years in Cleveland and really liked it and enjoyed ourselves. We didn't make it to last years' show here in Columbus so we are both looking forward to going tomorrow.
I guess thats it for now. Some days I have felt like God hasn't been there at all it has been such a struggle but other days, I know he is there. I got to share quite a bit about God with some people where I was for those few days. God uses all people in all situations.
Anyhow. I thank all of you for your prayers, love and support. I really felt them at times when I was at my lowest.
God Bless All Y'all. I do love ya.

Am home but it has been a rough day. Am really tired tonight. And have my ultrasound in the morning for the cycts/fibroids etc. Its at 11am. So, we'll see what we see.
I am just really tired tonight. Exhausted. In more ways than one. Will try to write more tomorrow and explain more, we'll see. There are still some people I don't want to know.
Thanks to all of you who have been supportive and sent prayers and love. I have needed it and appreciate it very much.

Need prayer
There is a long story going on. I am not going to go into detail right now bacause I don't want some people to know (not my trusted blogging friends).
Let's just say I have been having some problems and am someplace getting some help. Its going well, but I have been diagnosed with something I never thought I would be diagnosed with (mental). Its a mild form and the meds seem to be working. I will probably get to go home thursday.
There have been alot of issuses in my life that haven't been dealt with and it had all come to a head. After being here and doing research, we find out I have probably had symptoms of this for years and didn't know it. It has been hard on me to be here. Husband, pastor and close friends have been very supportive.
I will explain more later. Just please pray for both for both my husband and I as we learn to deal with this.
I love and miss you guys,
Meg

EEG
This morning I had an EEG with the new headache doc. It went well. They said he would only call if something should up really wrong, otherwise, we will find out the results when we go back for our follow-up visit on April 7th. He wants to give the B2 and Magnesium a chance to work. He sent me home with some free samples for relpax, zomig, axert, and frova. I haven't tried the axert yet, but I have tried relpax and zomig. They take forever to work. Last night I had a small migraine and tried frova. It worked fast! I was surprised.
When I was there today we talked about getting a prescription for that, but I haven't tried the axert yet. So, I wanted to wait and try to axert to see which one worked better between the two. They were cool with that. They said when I decided which one worked better, then to let them know and they would call in a script of that.
So, all in all, I still feel very good about everything. I still feel that God directed us to this doc even though we had to get through the rude/mean one to get to him.
I have started working out. Lifting weights with my arms, squats with my legs, crunches and this morning 15 minutes on the treadmill. I don't feel too bad. I know that it will help in the end, so I keep plugging on. Once spring finally gets here I will be able to get back on my bike and ride. I am excited about that.
I guess that's it for today. I need to work on our group Bible study for tonight. Not leading it, just want to be prepared to participate.
I will leave you with this. My husband got my a cross for valentine's day that says "In Everything Give Thanks". That is so true. In the good and the bad, we need to give God thanks for all things (this isn't a size cross you can carry in your pocket). I need to remember that, we all do.
May God Bless each and everyone of you this day.

A Scripture the Means Alot to Me
I found a cross the other day at hallmark that is small enough to carry in your pocket, so I do everyday.
It has a verse on it that has come to mean a great deal to me and I wanted to share it with you because it is so true!
"I will hold you always in the palm of my hand" Isaiah 41:13.
When I am having a bad day, I remember that verse. God truly holds us in the palm of His hands and I am grateful and blessed for that.
God is so great and so good, I am so thankful I became a christian again and that God is truly with me all the time!
God Bless All Of You!

To God Be The Glory
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
To God be the glory, great things He hathdone; So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,Who yielded His life, an atonement for sin,And opened the lifegate, that all may go in.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,To every believer, the promise of God;The vilest offender who truly believes,That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;But purer, and higher, and greater will beOur wonder, our transport1, when Jesus we see!
Refrain:Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,Let the earth hear His voice!Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice!O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,And give Him the glory, great things He hath done!
—Fanny J. Crosby (1820-1915)
Today went great! The foot is not broken, but will take 5 weeks to heal. I messed up the tendion that runs from the big toe and it will hurt like crazy for the whole time. I go back for a follow-up visit on st patricks day. Most of the foot is a pretty purple.
The visit to the headache doc specialist was fabulous! I left the office in tears praising the Lord for sending us his way. He is trying some things that we have never tried before for migrianes. I am taking B2 and Magnesium for now. This thursday they are doing an EEG on my head. Then they may do a sleep study since I have trouble sleeping and that greatly affects migraines as well as my fibromyalgia.
We left the office both of us thanking God for this doc and for the plan that he has. We are excited to see what is next. He sent me home with 4 different migraine meds to try when I get a migraine to see what works best. Also, sent me home with a migraine diary to keep track of my migraines and what med I take when I get one and how it works. I have never had to do this before so I am hoping this will help him understand my headaches better.
I had a small migraine tonight, but took a zomig and it took care of it almost immediately! This is the first migraine I have had since last thursday so praise God for that too!
So that is it for today. It was a busy day. My husband and I went to the christian bookstore after all this to find a Bible study to do together. I am excited about this as well and thank God daily for him and how he stays with me and takes care of me.
I hope that you all had a good day today and have a good day tomorrow.
Praise the Lord for all He has done!
